August Newsletter

Kind wishes to all - that's how I wish to kick off the August edition of the Four Blokes Newsletter! Kind wishes to all of you. Apart from a few asides, this month's newsletter will primarily focus on the band's concert appearance at the Stage Door. Enclosed within, an exclusive window into rehearsals, backstage refreshment, and the chaos that ensued during our performance. The situation on August 1st was less than ideal - the singular rehearsal for the concert was a complete shill due to lost and damaged equipment. Conditions were SUBPAR! Despite the winds blowing with the tide of time, I went up to the shed with a few Superking silvers and wrote a Sitar riff for Thistle using the notes of the Indian scale. At the end of last year I wrote a sort of poem about the relationship between suffering and loss and identity - first through the lens of plant life and then famous creatives from the 19th and 20th centuries. July Newsletter

Alreet lads n' lasses! There's two sides to everystory, you know - this much is true of the month in review. There's a part of me that believes the long-awaited LP release alone makes this an all-timer... it's not every month you release your DEBUT ALBUM! Add onto that the next gig booked and announced and you have yourself a fantastic four weeks for Four Blokes. Right - I'm already waffling and we haven't even got past the opening paragraph. Enclosed within this new edition of "The Four Blokes Newsletter" you will find a BUMPER SPECIAL FEATURE ARTICLE on the album, with a few short pieces on "the art of the deal" and "a disasteous return to re...

How's my tan? Hey freaks πŸ˜›πŸ˜œπŸ˜›πŸ˜œ and welcome to the June edition of Four Blokes' monthly newsletter - new journalistic peaks every time! What is there to discuss this time round? Trips both literal and metaphorical, rerecording of fabled loss tapes, a little bit of jazz transcribing and, most excitingly, MASSIVE progress towards the debut album's release. There's a lot to get through this month so let's get cracking. We scrub up alreet After necking some putrid rosΓ© in the roman ruins, me and the mrs got onto a small commercial vessel for the "end of year Geography boat ball" ; despite security's threat to "turn the boat around" because we had "ruined it for everyone" by smuggling on a 300ml can of Kopperberg cider (they were selling the same thing in bottles at the boat's bar - this was all in the interest of venue protection comrades!) we managed the whole journey without being cast into the deep blue below. One final quote f...
